History of the Rock

The rock first came to Coffman in 1989. The rock was originally a 27-ton boulder. It was taken by crane and a few hooks from the Quarry Place Office Park. It took about four men and two and a half hours to complete its trip to Coffman. The rock now provides students a place to show off their school spirit.
