-Spanish speaking young adults like to spend time with groups of friends

-Few young people own cars in Spain and Latin America

-Friends normally meet in public places like parks and cafés

-Spanish cities have a vibrant life day and night

-The seasons in the southern cone of South America occur at opposite times of the year from seasons

north of the equator

-It is warm all year round near the equator and also there are only 2 seasons, wet and dry

-In the tropics, altitude plays a major role in the climate
