Lesson Plans Monday Objective: The students will practice using Logical Operators in a spreadsheet. Assignment: Students will modify their payroll problem as shown on page 316. Students will set up a Logical "IF/THEN" statement to determine proper payroll. Tuesday Students will be able to define a linked workbook, source workbook, and dependant workbook. Students will create the Income Statement as shown on page 317-320 of the Computer Applications book. Students will create a linked workbook to add the necessary worksheets to determine sales for independent merchandise. Wednesday- Students will define bar graphs, pie graphs, line graphs and be able to determine when to use each particular type of graph. Students will be able to identify the category axis, the value axis and how to label each. Activities: Students will read the "Did you Know?" and "Concept Builders on pages 327 and page 328. Students will then complete the attached diagram with a partner. Students will create a graph to compare the sales of store items for the spreadsheet on page 297.
